  • Dataset name: The wild population of the American mink Neogale vison in the south-eastern Poland
  • Description of the dataset: These are results concerning the origin, distribution, and abundance of wild American mink in the Lublin region. The studies were carried out in the years 2021-2022. The main aim of the study was the initial verification of the hypothesis that the genetic differentiation of the wild American mink population in the south-eastern part of Poland has decreased. Genetic similarity of the population from this part of Poland with the minks from north-eastern Poland was examined. Furthermore, the morphological variability of the American mink was determined based on measurements of the body length and weight.
